Arise- Ephesians 5:14

Yesterday afternoon, the youth all piled into cars and headed to Saltillo, MS for a worship service put on by Under His Armour ministry.  Arise is a student focused, God-centered event that was held this past Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and I am so thankful we made it to the closing service on Sunday night.  Barton Ramsey, from Tupelo, MS was our speaker for the night and Kara Young, a Senior at Tupelo was the Worship Leader.  They were both phenomenal and very thankful for the opportunity they had to spend with the youth.
Arise- Ephesians 5:14 started with two men having a crazy conversation and throwing a lot of "what if's" around about having a worship service for youth all over the area.  Soon after, this simple conversation became possible!  God began giving these men the buildings (a vacant Piggly Wiggly in town), helpers, donations, and leaders needed to make the event possible!  A few months later, advertisements went out, and the service was set!
Thanks be to God for working through these men to start a wonderful ministry for our youth!
We had a wonderful worshipful experience and look forward to the next service in the future.  Thanks for all the hard work that was put forth to make the event possible, and mostly thanks to God for the night.
Here are a few pictures from last night.  Enjoy!

Minus Anna Clair White.. somehow she was left out of this one : (.
